Monday evening we took part in the Jerusalem Tweetup arranged by Jewlicious and Haaretz.
It was great!

Had lots of fun and met lots of friends we hadn’t seen in a while. These are photos of some of them: @ahoova, @yaelbeeri, @religion_state, @hananc, @lisang, @charliekalech, @kuchar, @tova_s, @nzeldes

If you have a Flickr account don’t hesitate to friend us, or if you prefer, the album is available on Facebook too.

Love you all guys, thanks for coming : )

My heartfelt thanks to Jessica Korman (@jessicakorman) for taking these pictures.

Jerusalem Tweetup poster

Next Monday, the 25th of May, as of 8:00 PM, we’ll be schmoozing and boozing with members of Israel’s growing Twitter community at the Jerusalem Jewlicious Tweetup. Since I’m sorta familiar with the events Jewlicious puts together I can already tell you that Tuesday morning is not a good time to call…

Look! Its Jewlicious in the corner!

That's Jewlicious in the corner! (AKA David Abitbol)

Jewlicious is all about multicultural dialogue and the sampling of booze from far away lands

We’re seriously looking forward to meeting you : )

…So if you’re in Israel, come join us within the cloistered walls of the Holy City of  Jerusalem for a geeky party with some of the finest twits in all the land. There’s a free glass of wine waiting with your name on it and Dutch DJ Babette will be spinning vinyl to help you geek out!

Any questions? Tweet us @headup!

Location

The Bulghourji Lounge and Gardens, Armenian Patriarchate Rd. 6, Armenian Quarter, Old City, Jerusalem. The following video shows Jewlicious (AKA David Abitbol) explaining how to get there in a calm and assuring voice:
