Recently a bunch of us went to GarageGeeks. Yossi Vardi had Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post as a guest speaker for the evening. Arianna spoke about the creation of the Huffington Post and their addition of their Technology section, describing it as ” a [focus] on the intersection of technological advances and the way they impact our lives”. She blogged it on Huffington Post and mentioned the range and number of “passionate” Garagegeeks she had the opportunity to meet (is that us?).

In a nutshell the evening was a yet another case in favor of the whole Garagegeeks concept and we had a blast!

BTW for those of you who don’t know GarageGeeks is an Israeli based not-profit space for innovative and creative people to network create and brainstorm. The spirit of GarageGeeks is to promote the creation of non-commercial projects that would couldn’t exist otherwise.
Yossi Vardi makes a point of bringing his most distinguished guests (Sergey Brin and Tim Armstrong to name a few)…
…to a mildly dilapidated old garage in the middle of Holon’s Industrial zone for an evening full of geekish fun and booze. The presentations are usually pretty good too… ; )
